Fabric Maintenance:
Call a professional cleaner for most decorative fabrics.
You should not wash custom pleated draperies that have lining or trim in your washing machine.
Some sheers made of polyester could be hand washed if they have no pleats with pins or buckrum. Use a mild detergent.

Painting a bedroom:
Todays beds are quite heavy and can cause damage to a bed frame when they are moved as one unit.
To ensure your bed frame doesn't incur damage remove the mattress & box spring prior to moving the frame away from the wall.
